This was drawn from life with scrunched up silk and freehand machine embroidery. After the petals had fallen the seed head, not yet dried out, looked like a crazy jester’s hat. It felt just like a jester was spinning our world at that moment in our first Corona virus lockdown. June 2020
The background is a patchwork of raw silk and the mount is also a rough weave silk.
